Salesforce, Assurance and the Cooperative Association for Special Education took the top spots for large, midsize and small Chicagoland workplaces, respectively, according to rankings released by Energage on behalf of the Chicago Tribune. For the past 11 years, Energage, formerly Workplace Dynamics, has been ranking workplaces in the Chicago area and the nation through employee surveys, assessing everything from work-life balance to confidence in company leadership.

Assurance is ranked No. 1 among midsize employers in the Tribune’s list of Top Workplaces, as measured by the consultancy Energage in Exton, Pennsylvania.

Ace Hardware Corp. is ranked No. 4 among large employers in the Tribune’s list of Top Workplaces, as measured by the consultancy Energage in Exton, Pennsylvania.
